Absolutely crushed by the defeat. Match isn’t even over and we’re down 4-1. United are beating Wigan 5-0, making it 10-0 for the season. These matches don’t even need analysis. I don’t need to know how each team played. These were predictable results. Two poor teams going against two of the best.
Fine, great, forget it. Harry Redknapp bankrupted us. Yes we won the FA Cup for the first time in 69 years, and I was happy then. But look at the cost, financially and emotionally. We had to sell everyone (back to Redknapp, incidentally), and now we have a “winding-up” order against us basically saying that we’ll be declared bankrupt if we don’t get our finances right by February. Another wave of selling in January, clear out everyone except the core few that actually give a damn about the club.
Players don’t get paid, no money to improve the squad, training ground or stadium. Is this any way to run a top football club? Gee, thanks Harry Redknapp for taking us into Europe. Oh, and overpaying for players, and creating a staggering wage bill and then leaving when a “big club” came looking for you. No disrespect, but why are Tottenham considered a “big club?” When have they consistently challenged for honors, aside from winning the Carling Cup a couple of seasons ago? Have they done anything else of note in the last decade?
And the best part is, you gutted us. You put us in a precarious financial position, and then jumped ship and bought only the people you liked when we were in dire straights. Sure, take the key to city. But don’t expect any admiration for your behavior after winning the Cup. I know personal ambition and do what’s best for you blah blah, but what you did is akin to what the banksters did in creating the financial crisis. Leverage like crazy to improve your short-term performance, damn the long-term health and stability of the organization, as long as you get results here and now the rest of the thing can burn to ground after you’re gone.
Thanks Harry Redknapp. You are the footballing equivalent of a derivatives trader during the housing bubble. Do what you can to pad your own resume and bring yourself success, and then get the hell out before the whole thing comes crashing down.

[...] PS- Pompey still can’t pay their players. Yes, it looks like we’re going broke soon. And yes, I’m still pissed. [...]
